While spices and condiments are primarily celebrated for enhancing the flavor and aroma of our food, medicinal plants are valued for their therapeutic properties. Interestingly, many natural ingredients bridge both categories; for example, Turmeric (Haldi), Ginger, and Darchini provide rich culinary depth while acting as powerful anti-inflammatories. By studying items like Jeera, Tejpatta, Amla, Arjun, and Mulethi, students learned how nature serves a dual purpose—nourishing the body through nutrition while providing essential remedies for health and wellness.
